		IPCA President Chris Haggerty of American Pest Control, Inc. has just completed a two year term as president of the Illinois Pest Control Association. Haggerty, orginally of Canton, graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1982 and currently serves as service manager for American Pest Control's eastern region. Haggerty also previously served as secretary and as vice-president/programs of the Illinois Pest Control Association. The association represents more than 300 pest control companies working throughout the state of Illinois.

		Business Person of the Year! The Canton Chamber of Commerce has selected Charles Haggerty as Business Person of the Year. The Canton Daily Ledger says, "This year's award recipient for outstanding local business person has helped promote area development and the community in many ways." Mr. Haggerty has served on the boards of Graham Hospital and Coleman Clinic as well as for his church and other organizations. Mr. Haggerty said that it is his employees that make him look so good!
